The Catechism of the Catholic Church states “Since the first century, the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law” (No 2271).
When faced with a difficult decision, we are called to choose the lesser of the evils.
That being said, it is deeply concerning how many “good Catholics” are openly and actively supporting and promoting a candidate whose platform relies heavily on the promise to keep the killing of the unborn and babies legal.
So very sad and so very disappointing ... hoping people carefully consider this teaching.
