The Rev. and Mrs. Benton Zettlemoyer of Lehighton R.4 were named grand marshals of the 11th Annual Lehighton Area Halloween Parade to be held later this month.

Rev. Zettlemoyer is pastor emeritus of Bethany E.C. Church, Lehighton, where he served for 19 years.

He is a member of the board of directors of the Carbon Chapter of the American Red Cross and in 1978 received its “Citizen of the Year” award. He is also active with the chamber of commerce, Mahoning Valley Barbershoppers and Meals on Wheels.

His wife, Erma, has been the director of “Trebel Clef,” a Lehighton area singing group, for the past 60 years, and belongs to the Christian Women’s Club.
