State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Edward A. Moyer, 58, of Orwigsburg, was injured in a motorcycle crash at 11:54 a.m. Oct. 5 on the Mahanoy City Road in Mahanoy Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad to an area hospital. They said he sustained chest and shoulder injuries.

Police said he was operating a 2011 Kawasaki north when he under-compensated a left curve. The cycle went off the east shoulder of the road, slid on gravel and fell onto its fuel tank position. It was towed from the scene.

Police said Moyer received a warning for the incident.

• Nikaurys Gil Cepeda, 26, of Frackville, was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, to be treated for possible injuries after a one-car crash at 6:51 a.m. Oct. 4 on the Morea Road in Mahanoy Township.

Police said she was driving a 2010 Honda east and was attempting to pass another vehicle when the car’s passenger-side rear control arm broke, causing the car to slide sideways. Police said it left the north shoulder of the road and hit a small embankment before rolling over a number of times before coming to rest on its driver’s side. The car had disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
