October 12, 1968 — The connection of Terry Wogenrich to Monroe Berger helps Lehighton hold off East Stroudsburg for a 32-26 victory. Wogenrich completes 12 of 19 passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns, with all the scores going to Berger. The first two scores of the game come from the duo as they hook up on a 74-yard touchdown and then again from 45 yards out. The pair add a third TD pass right before the half. The Indians, coached by Jim Wentz, also receive 4-yard scoring runs from Norm Frey and Darryl Klotz. After the Cavs rally to within a score, Robert Bierman recovers an onsides kick to seal the win.
