A Marian Catholic High School senior was named the Greater Carbon County Junior Miss during the Weatherly Jaycee-sponsored pageant held Saturday at the Weatherly Middle School auditorium.

Robin Kuchera, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kuchera of McAdoo, was accorded the honor during the event.

The first runner-up was Nadine Rayno, 18, of Beaver Meadows.

Vicki Reinert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Reinert of Center Avenue, Jim Thorpe, received three awards during the pageant, including the Junior Achievement Award, Junior Miss Spirit Award, formerly Miss Congeniality, and a performing arts plaque.
