State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Arthur Lex, 44, of Lansford, on charges of theft of auto parts.
They were dispatched to McCarthy’s Tire Service on Airport Road, Hazle Township, where it was determined that Lex entered a gated area and took two aluminum wheels worth $40.
Police said the theft occurred on May 14.
• A 38-year-old Tresckow man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after an incident at 3:50 p.m. June 22 that police recently reported.
Police said he was driving a 2006 Subaru in the area of East Market and North Chestnut streets in Banks Township when he was stopped.
He was transported to the state police barracks for processing.
• A 33-year-old Weatherly man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 3:14 a.m. Aug. 21.
The man was stopped in a 2018 Jeep Cherokee on West Mine Street in Hazleton, police said.
• A 25-year-old Weatherly woman was cited for retail theft after an incident at 2:07 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Walmart store on Airport Road in Hazle Township.
Police said she attempted to under-ring pajamas worth $22.98 and nighttime medication worth $9.97 in the self-checkout aisle.
• A 70-year-old Weatherly man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 3:11 p.m. Sept. 23 on Wetzel Run Drive, Packer Township.
Police said that he struck his 61-year-old wife during a dispute.
• Police received an identity theft complaint from a 56-year-old Tresckow man at 3:22 p.m. Sept. 26.
The resident of East Market Street, Banks Township, reported his identity was used in May of last year to obtain a cellphone account.
