A motorcyclist escaped injury Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run crash in Kline Township. The crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. along Route 309 near the entrance ramp to interstate 81.

According to initial reports a motorcycle, a tractor trailer and a black pickup pulling a trailer were involved.

When emergency personnel arrived on scene they found the motorcycle and tractor trailer but apparently the pickup left the scene.

A short time later they found the pickup sitting across Route 309 with front end damage and a flat left front tire. Kline township police are investigating the incident.
