Palmerton graduate Jordan Nelson is a key defensive contributor for the Villanova football team that is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation in Division One FCS.

The Wildcats’ only loss on the season was to Big Ten member Maryland University.

Nelson is an outside linebacker for the ‘Nova defense that is ranked eighth in the nation in points scored against. He has nine tackles, including four solo stops.

A year ago, the former Blue Bomber played in 10 games and registered 16 tackles, one for loss, and an interception.
