The crash occurred, police said, when a 1999 Kenworth driven by Daniel D. Glick, 72, of Gordonville, struck a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Gogel after the latter and Lois C. Rapanotti, 62, of Vineland, New Jersey, driving a 2023 Toyota RAV4, slowed their vehicles for congested traffic.
Police said the initial impact caused the Silverado to strike the RAV4, which was also struck by the Kenworth after it slid upon striking the Silverado.
All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
Glick was cited after the crash, police said. He and Rapanotti were uninjured.
