State police at the Belfast barracks reported that a 23-year-old man from Kunkletown is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after an incident at 12:56 a.m. Sept. 14 on Route 33 in Plainfield Township.

Police said he was driving a 2012 Ford Focus that troopers came upon while disabled in the center of the median. He was then transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hecktown Oaks, for treatment and an evaluation.
