A Lehigh Valley craft brewery has purchased the Riverwalck Saloon in Parryville, it announced this weekend on its Facebook page.

Seven Sirens Brewing Company revealed that talks with Riverwalck owners began when the property, a favorite stop for locals and visitors alike along the Pohopoco Creek and Lehigh River, was recently listed for sale.

“What they and their team have built on the river out there has always had a spot in my heart,” Seven Sirens officials said in their post. “For years I’ve been fishing and kayaking the Lehigh River, we’d never consider calling it a day without stopping in for an awesome meal and a delicious drink. As we walked the property and shared memories, we all agreed that it is a very special place for so many people, and the future of Riverwalck is bright.”

Riverwalck opened in 2008. The property, formerly home to the Walck Family Restaurant, was under contract as of Friday.

“Nothing will change for the next couple months as we get all of the legal work and inspections done,” Seven Sirens’ post said. “We have big plans for the property including renovations, overhauling the food menu, and effectively turning it into our third location here in the Lehigh Valley.”

Seven Sirens also has locations in Bethlehem and Easton. The brewery has teamed up with the Carlino family, owners of The Pizza Joint Allentown, to, “pour as much love into this property as we possibly can.”

Future offerings will include fresh seafood, steak, sandwiches, pasta dishes and more.

“The team at Riverwalck has done an amazing job making the place what it is today and we intend to keep every one of them employed during and after the transition,” Seven Sirens’ post said. “There are always opportunities for growth and we hope that we can lead our new Brady-Bunch of a team into the next chapter of The Riverwalck’s future. To the locals and regular patrons of The Riverwalck, we aim to make you proud and welcome any and all feedback during this process.”
