State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Four people were cited for harassment following a disturbance police responded to at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 22 at a property on Pelak Road, Jackson Township.

Cited were two men, ages 26 and 29, and a woman, 46, all from Tannersville, and a 31-year-old woman from Saylorsburg. Police said the citations are the result of a verbal altercation that led to threats being made by the four parties.

• Brittany Sloan, 35, of Jim Thorpe, was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to an incident at 34 Leslie Lane, Penn Forest Township, at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 25.

Police said they issued the citation after reviewing camera footage of the incident.

• Daleann Hess, 59, of Blakeslee, was cited for trespass after police were called to 130 Evergreen Hollow Road, Chestnuthill Township, at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 27.

Police said she drove her vehicle onto the property of Kevin Handibode, 50, of Effort, and sat inside it, after having been warned in the past that she was not permitted on the property.

• Daniel Shafer, 42, of Lehighton, was cited for criminal mischief as a result of incidents that occurred at Azzy Motorsports, 504 Timothy Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he urinated into a bottle several times and poured it onto the HVAC ductwork, damaging it and causing unsanitary conditions at the business.

• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 1:20 p.m. July 3 at a property on Thomas Lane, Penn Forest Township.

A 73-year-old man from Warminster reported an unknown man walked onto his property and broke a window on the shed. The damage was estimated at $50.

• Jeffrey Werkheiser, 61, of Effort, is facing charges of reckless endangerment following a road rage incident at 7:17 p.m. Sept. 15 on Brian Lane, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said the incident involved a 13-year-old boy from Effort who was riding a dirt bike.

They said the investigation revealed Werkeiser entered his 2006 Jeep and chased the juvenile. Police said Werkheiser ran the dirt bike off the road and punched the boy in the arm. The boy was able to get back on the motorcycle and attempted to flee from Werkheiser, who continued to chase him at a high rate of speed, police said.

• Eliezer Cintron-Pagan, 43, of Stroudsburg, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident at 8:12 a.m. Sept. 30 on Interstate 80 eastbound in Tobyhanna Township.

Police said the suspect grabbed two men, Jose Melendez Ruis, 26, of East Stroudsburg, and Paul Uszal, 23, of Saylorsburg, by the arm and punched Ruiz in the face following an argument.
