State police are investigating the death of a man found at a fire scene Sunday on Pocono Lane, Smithfield Township, Monroe County.

Police said a 68-year-old man was discovered deceased.

Two other people suffered burn injuries and were transported to a local medical facility for treatment.

The investigation remains active by the PSP Stroudsburg Criminal Investigation Unit along with the Troop N Fire Marshal Unit.
