Members of the Marian High School Class of 1979 celebrated their 45th Year Class Reunion on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30, 31 and Sept. 1, with all reunion activities taking place in Jim Thorpe.
Leo Marzen organized the reunion and hosted the reunion dinner on Friday night at Mauch Chunk Ballroom.
Marzen hosted a Class Cocktail Reception on Saturday at his home with his wife, Judy. On Sunday, the class attended Mass at Immaculate Conception Church.
Plans are already underway for the 50th Class Reunion in 2029.
Attendees remembered their deceased classmates: Rick Balogach, Donna Bolinsky, Phil DeLauretis, Joe Delpero, Tom Donnelly, Lisa Flamini, Jay Hanley, Fred Hrinda, Mary Ann Risko Rossi, and Ellen Schnitzius, Michael Sharpe and David Urban.
