The Tamaqua boys and girls cross country teams each went 2-0 in Schuylkill League action on Wednesday, while Palmerton’s Connor Hibell posted a victory in a Colonial League meet.

The home course advantage was more than friendly to Tamaqua, as the Blue Raiders ran to a sweep in Schuylkill League action.
Ava Jones paced the Blue Raiders in the girls meet with a second-place finish, while Samantha Plasha and Mollie Walker followed in third and fourth, respectively.
Levi Kunkel crossed the finish line in second for the Blue Raiders in the boys’ meet, while Anthony Marchetti and Adam Schock finished in third and fifth, respectively.
