Entertainment for everyone
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, currently on its “All the Good Times” farewell tour, leads the entertainment highlights coming to local and regional venues over the next two weeks.
The country group, which named the tour after its 1972 studio album, will play Penn’s Peak.
Country singer-songwriter Phil Vassar and rock band 38 Special will also perform at the Peak, while Mauch Chunk Opera House welcomes back central Pennsylvania’s The Badlees.
Outside of music, comedian Wanda Sykes brings her “Please & Thank You” show to the Wind Creek Event Center. The Mahoning Drive-In Theater, meanwhile, welcomes “Mystery Science Theater 30000” creator and star Joel Hodgson for an “MST3K” fan event.
