State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police are investigating a theft that was reported to them at 8:37 a.m. Sept. 23.

A 61-year-old man from New Tripoli reported that someone removed a package from an unlocked foyer of an apartment building on Schochary Road in Lynn Township.

The package contained an air filtration system valued at $100, police said.

• Police are investigating a theft by deception incident they received at 12:37 p.m. Sept. 20.

They said a 75-year-old man from Run Road, Weisenberg Township, told them he was the target of a telephone scam in which he was coerced over the phone to withdraw money from his bank accounts at a physical bank, as well as an ATM.

The man told police he did not lose any money in the incident.

• A man from Kunkletown was charged with defiant trespassing after police were called to an incident at 12:33 p.m. Sept. 10 at a property on Kernsville Road, Lowhill Township.

Police said they were told the man was an evicted tenant who was present on the scene after having been served the eviction notice.
