State police at the Hazleton barracks caution area drivers that they are in the midst of a stationary checkpoint/DUI roving patrol program that will continue through the end of September.

Police are conducting the program in the southern Luzerne County area in support of the Selective Traffic Enforcement against Drunk Driving Initiative, which is aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes on area roads.
