September 27, 2002 — In a low-scoring struggle played in rainy conditions, Northern Lehigh uses a first-quarter field goal and stellar defense to pull out a 3-0 Colonial League victory over Wilson. The Bulldogs, coached by Jim Tkach, drive 58 yards on 13 plays on their first possession before having to settle for a 24-yard three-pointer from kicker Aaron Mill. That lead would hold the rest of the game, although the Warriors put a drive together near the end of the contest moving 68 yards to the Dawgs’ 29-yard line. Nolehi holds on a fourth-and-two with 53 seconds left to seal the win. Aaron Bortz ends the game with two sacks, two fumble recoveries and a key tackle on Wilson’s last series.
