A Weissport man died on Tuesday of injuries he sustained in a motorcycle-tractor trailer crash that happened on a Berks County road and the coroner’s office in that county is trying to locate his relatives.

Gary L. Moyer, 61, whose last known address is on White Street in Weissport, died after the crash on Route 222 in Maxatawny Township.

Published reports said Moyer was riding a motorcycle that crashed into a tractor-trailer about 6:30 p.m. near Grim Road, just south of the village of Maxatawny.

State police at the Reading barracks are investigating the crash but have not released its details and a ruling on the manner of death is pending the investigation.

Berks officials have been unable to contact Moyer’s his next of kin and are asking anyone with information that may help them locate relatives of Moyer is asked to call the coroner’s office at 610-478-3280.
