State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 39-year-old man from Orefield reported a theft incident at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 14 on Windy Road in Lowhill Township.

Police said he had a check in the amount of $5,643.74 stolen from him while it was in transit.

• Police responded to a stalking/harassment incident on Highland Road, Lowhill Township. It happened between March 1 and Aug. 29.

A 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from Coplay, told police they found an Apple Air Tag located in their tow-behind camper.

• Three people were cited for harassment after police were summoned to a domestic dispute in progress at 6:28 p.m. Aug. 27 at a property on Cardinal Drive, Lynn Township.

Cited were a 21-year-old woman from Nescopeck and a 40-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from New Tripoli.

Police said the trio was involved in a fight that stemmed from various arguments.

• A 50-year-old man from New Tripoli is the victim of a scattering rubbish incident.

The man called police at 9:38 p.m. June 16 on Flint Hill Road, Lynn Township and said a large pile of construction debris was left on his property.

• A 29-year-old Ashfield man was cited for scattering rubbish after police were called to an incident at 4:42 p.m. Aug. 12 on Seipstown Road, Weisenberg Township.

Police said a 53-year-old man from New Tripoli, reported the Ashfield man dumped junk furniture and junk items on multiple properties in the township.

In an apparent related incident, police said the Ashfield man was charged with resisting arrest at 3:31 p.m. the same date. Police said they arrived at a property on Run Road in the township to serve a warrant on the man but he fled the scene. Police chased him and he was taken into custody.

• A 36-year-old New Tripoli man is facing charges of harassment for having threatened to physically harm a firefighter from the New Tripoli Fire Department.

Police said they responded to a property on Decatur Street when a 64-year-old New Tripoli man, reported the suspect left him two threatening voicemails.

• A 29-year-old Kempton woman lost $29,000 in a theft by deception incident.

Police responded at 12:39 p.m. July 12 to a property on Golden Key Road, Lynn Township. The woman said she was deceived into believing she was wanted on a felony drug trafficking warrant and had to provide a cash payment in that amount.

She said she cooperated with the caller, withdrew the money, transported it to a drop location and placed the money into a vehicle as directed.

• A 63-year-old Orefield man was cited for harassment after police were called to a domestic dispute in progress at 11:33 p.m. July 30 at a property on Farrier Road, Lowhill Township.

The victim is a 60-year-old woman from Orefield who reported the man assaulted her.

• Police responded to a criminal mischief incident at a property on Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township.

A 33-year-old man from New Tripoli, told police his 2002 Audi was damaged while he vacationed between July 20-24. The car had a gash above the gas tank and a scratch all the way to the right taillight, police said.

• A New Tripoli couple lost $8,800 in a theft by deception case police were called to at a property on Caret Road, Weisenberg Township.

The 68-year-old woman and 69-year-old man told police a suspect posed as an associate of the “Geeks Assured” anti-virus program and convinced them to rectify the woman’s anti-virus reimbursement by sending $8,800 in currency to the suspect via bitcoin ATM. Police said it happened between July 19-24.

• A 50-year-old Schnecksville man reported a theft by deception case at 5:51 p.m. Aug. 26 at a property on Cambridge Court, Lowhill Township.

He told police someone impersonated the CEO of his company and scammed him out of $200 in Apple gift cards.

• Police were called to a theft by deception incident at 4:01 p.m. Aug. 26 at a property on Old Orchard Court, Lynn Township.

A 56-year-old man from New Tripoli reported someone attempted to file for unemployment in his name. Police said the victim did not lose money in the incident.
