The Rev. Frederick A. Winkler, principal of Marian High School, announced a meeting will be held Wednesday in the school auditorium for men representative of the entire area served by the new school to effect an organization under the suggested name “Men of Marian.”

Rev. Winkler has proposed a three-point purpose for the men’s group, which include promotion and development of the high school’s athletic program to its maximum potential; to enhance the educational opportunities of Marian High School graduates through scholarship grants at the college and university levels; and to further the spiritual aims of he individual members through religious activities and a Communion breakfast to be held annually.
