September 24, 1982 — Tom Keer scores two touchdowns and throws for another as Lehighton jumps on Stroudsburg early en route to a 36-19 Centennial League victory. Keer scores on a pair of 3-yard runs and also tosses a 41-yard TD pass to Todd Steigerwalt. The winners, coached by Dave Parsons, get on the board first thanks to a defensive score. Three minutes into the contest Chris Fritzinger intercepts a pass and returns it 40 yards to the end zone. Lehighton also receives an insurance tally from Glenn Whiteman on a 2-yard run.
