A Schuylkill County woman has died as a result of injuries suffered in a crash last Wednesday, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said.

Mary Frances Peiffer, 82, of Auburn, was pronounced dead at 2:02 p.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

The coroner’s office said she was the driver of a vehicle that struck another vehicle at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 61 and Summer Valley Road (Route 895), West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the crash.
