Local Roundup: Results from Sept. 21

Four different players — including three from Pleasant Valley — had hat tricks to lead their respective teams to victories over the weekend.

Jim Thorpe’s Noah Geiser and Pleasant Valley’s Royce Thompson both had three goals in boys soccer wins, while the Bears’ Marta Perry also had a trio of goals in a girls soccer match. Meanwhile, Emma DePalma had a hat trick in PV’s field hockey victory.

Jim Thorpe-Pen Argyl

Noah Geiser’s hat trick helped Jim Thorpe gain a 4-2 Colonial League victory over Pen Argyl.

The Olympians, winners of seven straight, also received a goal and an assist from Ehren Hassler.

A second-half goal by Lizzie Pikitus allowed Marian to gain a 3-2 victory over visiting Weatherly.
