A local insurance agent got the surprise of her life on July 8 with some wonderful news.

Wanda Binder, a dedicated insurance agent at Brosky Insurance Agency in Allentown, was named the winner of the Risk and Insurance Education Alliance 2024 outstanding CSR of the Year for the state of Pennsylvania.

The competition was started in 1991 to honor customer service representatives and account managers who have made significant contributions in the insurance and risk management industry.

The competition is sponsored by the Society of Certified Insurance Representatives and the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

Binder, who has been in the industry for over 30 years, prides herself in providing excellent customer service with great attention to detail. She always has, and always will, make sure that the clients she works with daily have their needs met.

She currently lives in Lehighton.
