A special meeting of the Coaldale School Board was held last night at which time the job of supervising principal was abolished on the recommendation of the board of control.

Temporary administrator for the present term will be Stephen Martinec, 204 West Phillips Street, Coaldale, who will begin his duties tomorrow.

A current member of the high school faculty, he holds an undergraduate degree from Susquehanna University and a master’s degree in administration from New York University.

At one time, he served as assistant football, basketball and track coach for Coaldale.
