State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following incidents that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• The owner of a 2017 Nissan that was stopped at 12:56 p.m. Sept. 6 on Interstate 476 in Washington Township is facing expired registration and fake inspection sticker charges.
Police said the victims are Blairsville Tire Corral, Blairsville, and Lockhart Tire, Pittsburgh.
• A similar incident took place at 7:58 a.m. Sept. 6, also in Washington Township, where the owner of a 2019 Mitsubishi Galant was cited.
Police said that the car had fraudulent emission stickers on it.
Victims in that incident were Hope’s Collision and Towing, Tamaqua, and PJS Auto, Middlesex, police said.
