State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks arrested a juvenile on Wednesday on charges relating to information they received that the boy was going to bring a gun to school.
Police said they received information relating to a student making threats to bring the firearm into school. They said he was taken into custody.
Officials of the Schuylkill County Juvenile Probation were notified and responded to the barracks to take the boy into custody.
He is charged with two felony counts of terroristic threats and one count of disorderly conduct.
Police said all potentially involved schools were notified and there are no existing threats to any school.
No specifics about schools were released.
