Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Sept. 16-20.
Monday: Vegetable Lasagna, Vegetable Blend, Yogurt or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich.
Tuesday: Vegetable Soup, Pork BBQ, Sweet Potato Fries, Fruit Salad or Salad with Beef
Wednesday: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Mashed Potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Cookie or Salad with Chicken.
Thursday: Meatball Sandwich, Potato Wedges, Salad, Orange or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich.
Friday: Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice, Broccoli, Peaches or Tuna Sandwich.
The senior center also announced the following events:
Skeeball on Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.
Game Day on Sept. 16 at 11 a.m.; Ways to Improve Your Memory with Rachael Wydra on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m.; Win, Lose or Draw on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Sept. 19 at 11 a.m.; Movie & Pizza on Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.
Guess the Sound on Sept. 23 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Sept. 24 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Sept. 25 at 11 a.m.; Guess Who on Sept. 26 at 11 a.m.; Entertainment with The Neil Diamond Experience on Sept. 27 at 11 a.m.
Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Nesquehoning
Bake sale fundraiser
Nesquehoning’s fundraising group will hold a bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon Friday in front of the borough office building, 114 W. Catawissa St. Proceeds from the sale benefit the borough Hometown Heroes banner program and will be used to purchase American flags to accompany the banners.
A second bake sale will be held Oct. 11 to help raise funds for community events in the borough.
