Tamaqua Library announces events

Wednesday Coffee Days

Need a break? Stop in to the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., to sip a cup of coffee (pay what you can) and a good book — or newspaper or magazine — and a calm pause from the hectic pace of everyday life.

Wednesday Coffee Days are sponsored by Hope & Coffee, a coffee house that provides support and employment for those in recovery.

The library, which offers a wide array of books, computers, and programs for all ages, is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

For more information, call the library at 570-668-4660.
