Lehighton posted wins in three sports over the weekend.

Both Indian soccer teams triumphed, while the field hockey team also picked up a victory.

Catasauqua-Lehighton

Four different players scored as Lehighton earned a 4-1 Colonial League victory over visiting Catasauqua.

Jacib Anthony opened the scoring for the Indians with a first-half goal, while Phillip Ebbert, Jesse Waksmunski and Jaxson Strauss all posted second-half scores.

Northern Lehigh received goals from four different players to gain a 4-2 Colonial League win over Saucon Valley.

Ethan Moore had a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs, while Zaid Salih, Logan Berfield and Dregan Millroy also scored.

Sadie Monk sparked the Indians’ attack with two goals — one in each half, while Morgan Meyers also tallied for Lehighton.

Northwestern’s Rosalia Nestor and Palmerton’s Connor Hibell both finished third in their respective divisions at the Centaur Invitational Saturday.

Nestor had a time of 20:10.09, while Hibell recorded a 16:52.16. Tamaqua’s Anthony Marchetti was 10th in the boys race with a time of 17:24.41.

Panther Valley at Ephrata Invitational

Panther Valley went 4-4 in pool play at the Ephrata Invitational Saturday.

The Panthers beat Milton Hershey, 2-0 and split with Lampeter-Strasburg and Lancaster Catholic. PV lost to Manheim Township.

Jaelynn Brody had 10 kills and 17 digs for the Panthers, Natalie Vermillion had 20 kills, and 13 digs, and Abby Benack added 16 assists.
