As part of the ongoing bridge replacement at the Lehigh Gorge State Park’s Rockport Access area, the contractor will be closing the access road between Sept. 16 and 20 for paving-related improvements.

The work will not allow for any public vehicle or pedestrian entrance into the Rockport access area.

Those who are using the trail north or south of the Rockport area will be able to continue through on the Lehigh Gorge/D&L Trail. Trail users will also be able to access the restroom.
