Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Choir Christmas Cantata practice will begin at 7:05 p.m. on Sept. 12. Anyone who has interest in singing in the cantata should see choir director Eileen Sowden.

Fall Bible Study begins Sept. 18 at 11:30 a.m. in Leah’s Room. The six-week study looks at “God’s Answer to Life’s Difficult Question.” Bring a lunch if you wish.

A fall Ladies Luncheon will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19. The guest for the event will be Pastor Jennifer Eckhart and “Stained Glass Road.” More information will be released in October.

Fall Basket Social

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its Annual Fall Basket Social and Bake Sale on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a theme basket raffle, baked goods, homemade soups, filling, chowchow and apple butter available.
