Sunday School starts

Many churches begin their Sunday School classes on Sunday.

Effort UMC will hold its classes during the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday.

In addition, the church is hosting a Fellowship breakfast from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Wesley Hall. It is a free-will offering event and one may bring family or friends.

Seekers class

Effort UMC hosts a Seekers class. That class will resume at 10 a.m. Monday.

Flea Market

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, 924 Rt. 115 Saylorsburg is holding a flea market from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Sept.14. Call 570-992-7311 for information.

The church will also feature a lunch counter, selling hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, beverages and home baked treats. The rain date is Sept. 21.

Final breakfast

EAA 839 will hold its final Pancake Breakfast of 2024 on Sept. 15 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Rain or Shine event. Young Eagles flights available, music by DJ Dillan and Classic Cars on the grounds.

Fall flea market

The Women’s Group of Effort will be holding its semi-annual Flea Market on Oct. 5 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tables will be available for renting if needed.
