The Return To Mauch Chunk Pow Wow will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Mauch Chunk Lake Park, 625 Lentz Trail, Jim Thorpe.

The Lenape Nation of Pa is hosting the intertribal event. The public is welcome. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated

Proceeds benefit The Lenape Nation of Pa. Scholarship Fund.

There will be an inner circle, where native dancing, drumming and singing will be presented.

An outer circle features our artisans and crafters, offering exhibitions and demonstrations by members of various tribes. This circle will also feature food vendors (both native and local booths) as well as various nonprofit information booths. There will be a stage among the outer circle.

Native flute players will entertain the public on Sunday.

On Saturday a concert will feature Shadow of the Mountain, with drums, Gray Cloud Singers, Warpaint Singers, Medicine Horse and more.

The event will include Iroquois dances, Lenape Stick dances featuring Wesley Halsey, and Aztec Dancers featuring the Salinez family.

The grand entry of the dancers will be at noon.

A craft raffle and 50/50 raffle will be held.
