State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following accident that took placed on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

• Danica J. Webbe, 36, of Philadelphia, was uninjured in a mishap at 6:47 a.m. Aug. 23 at mile marker 95.9 in Kidder Township.

Police said she was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue northbound when it struck metal debris laying on the roadway. The car sustained radiator damage and a flat tire.

• Matthew Orlando, 61, of Dallas, PA, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:29 a.m. Aug. 29.

He was stopped in a 2023 Acura at 861 Interstate 476 in Penn Forest Township.
