State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 30-year-old Palmerton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. Aug. 23.

He was stopped in a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze for multiple Title 75 violations on Fireline Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

• Police said a black handbag with various items in it was located in the area of the West End Fair.

The bag was given to police at 11:07 a.m. Aug. 23. They said it was found at 9170 Interchange Road, Towamensing Township.

• A 48-year-old Palmerton man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an incident at 12:22 a.m. Aug. 21 on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

The incident involved a 54-year-old woman from Palmerton, police said.

• Isaiah Morales, 19, of Whitehall, is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 5:51 p.m. Aug. 20.

He was stopped in the 100 block of Route 115 in Ross Township for violations of Title 75, after which time troopers found him to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, police said.

• Police were summoned to an unresponsive male report at 11:49 p.m. Aug. 13 at a property on Ross Road in Ross Township.

They sad a 74-year-old man from Saylorsburg was pronounced dead of natural causes.
