Pleasant Valley’s soccer teams both rolled to 9-0 victories over East Stroudsburg North on Thursday.

The Bears also gained a win in volleyball action.

The Northwestern boys and girls both went 2-1 in a Colonial League meet, defeating Salisbury and Catasauqua but falling to host Southern Lehigh.

Xander Giandomenico placed fourth for the Tiger boys, while Rosalia Nestor crossed the line second for the NW girls.

Palmerton’s Connor Hibell scored the win in the boys meet, while the Lehighton boys and Northern Lehigh girls each opened the season 3-0 in Colonial League action.

Elijah Pagotto was second in the boys meet for the Tribe.

Northern Lehigh’s Emma Heil placed fifth in the girls meet, while Lehighton’s Claudia Pagotto was sixth.
