Faith Alive Church
Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Choir Christmas Cantata practice will begin at 7:05 p.m. on Sept. 12. Anyone who has interest in singing in the cantata should see choir director Eileen Sowden.

GriefShare classes begin Sept. 3. They are held from 10 a.m.-noon on Tuesdays through Nov. 26. The classes take place in room 113, lower level. Fall Bible Study begins Sept. 18 at 11:30 a.m. in Leah’s Room. The six-week study looks at “God’s Answer to Life’s Difficult Question.” Bring a lunch if you wish.
Fall Basket Social
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its Annual Fall Basket Social and Bake Sale on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a theme basket raffle, baked goods, homemade soups, filling, chowchow and apple butter available.
