A Monroe County woman is dead following a crash Saturday night on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

County Coroner Tom Yanac Jr. identified the woman as Louisa Gonzalez-Hayes, 68, of Hamilton Township.

Yanac said Gonzalez-Hayes died as a result of the crash on Route 33 south at miler marker 27.6. He said Gonzalez-Hayes was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m. as a result of blunt force injuries.

Yanac said Gonzalez-Hayes was the only person in the vehicle, but her dog died in the car as well.
