A Lehighton man has been charged in a stabbing Thursday night in Weissport.

State police were called the area of Bridge Street in Weissport at 9:54 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.

Police found a 40-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times. He was treated by EMS, and transported to a local medical facility.

Through investigation, police identified a suspect, David Osenbach, 42, of Lehighton. Osenbach was taken into custody Friday on charges of aggravated assault and transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
