State police at the Hazleton barracks reported a Tresckow was injured in a crash.

Ernest M. Massar Jr., 64, was involved in a crash at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 17 at the intersection of Hazle Township Boulevard and Fisher Hill Avenue in Hazle Township.

Police said personnel from the American Patient Transport System responded to the incident but Massar did not require an emergency transport from the scene.

They said the crash happened when a 2012 Jeep Patriot driven by Tory Schlier, 30, of Weatherly, pulled out through a steady red traffic light and struck the driver’s side door of a 2004 Ford Econoline driven by Massar.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Schlier and a 6-year-old boy from Weatherly who was a passenger in the Jeep were not injured.
