To the editor:

It appears that the Pleasant Valley School District has some extra money. I read in Saturday’s edition that the two top guns in the district received a nice 4% increase.

James Konrad is up to $189,392, an increase of $7,000. His assistant, Rae Lin Howard, is up to $161,541, an increase of over $6,200.

How about a little extra for those in the trenches?
