Eastern PA Sports Network recently named three Franklin Township baseball players from the District 18 championship 11-12 Little League Team to the Section 6 Little League All-Tournament Team.

The players were Jacoby Andrews, Ethan Laible and Myles Meek.

Andrews led the team with the highest batting average, .467, for the All-Star season, making key hits in several games to help drive runs in during the sectional tournament. He was perfect in the field, playing center most of the games.

Laible pitched a shutout game to lead FT to its first-ever victory over Southern Lehigh. Laible led the team in stolen bases (3) and ERA (1.59) and was a key contributor throughout the season.

Meek had five RBIs and had a perfect fielding percentage playing first base for the nine games. He drove in one of the two runs in the shutout against Southern Lehigh.

The three players hold impressive baseball resumes as members of three previous championship teams:

• 2021 8-10s - Laible

• 2022 8-10s - Laible, Andrews and Meek

• 2023 8-10s - Andrews and Meek

• 2024 District 18 champions and Sectional 6 finalists

Laible was also a 2023 District 18 finalist and Panther Valley Tournament champion.
