Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

Micah’s Meals program: Additional volunteers needed from the end of September through the first week of June. A church work day is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 14. Help is also needed to cleanup the room housing the puppets. For more information, see Rob Moyer.

Choir Christmas Cantata practice will begin at 7:05 p.m. on Sept. 12. Anyone who has interest in singing in the cantata should see choir director Eileen Sowden.

New Sunday School Series begins Aug. 25 in Leah’s Room. Adult Bible class led by Pete Herzog.

Impact Youth Group will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 8. All youths, ages 12 through 12th grade, are welcome. For more information, contact Jessica Hamm at 570-982-4062.

GriefShare classes begin Sept. 3. They are held from 10 a.m.-noon on Tuesdays through Nov. 26. The classes take place in room 113, lower level.
