East Penn Twp. hears concerns from residents

East Penn Township supervisors fielded concerns from several residents at last week’s meeting.

Brook Allen, a resident of East Penn Township, asked the board what it was going to do about Bernard Hosier, president of the Playground Association, whom she claims made threats via text to her that he was going to choke her and accused her of doing “doughnuts” with a truck and messing up the Ashfield Playground. The board told Allen she needs to call state police and file a complaint.

Also on Monday, William Swartz of Berger Creek Road said he was hopeful for a resolution after waiting seven years of being accursed and fined for having a trucking terminal on his property which is zoned business and commercial.

The board said it was waiting to hear from its attorney about the matter.
