Police said a 17-year-old girl from White Haven was driving a 2017 Subaru Forester that entered the south lane of travel and struck a 2012 Ford Explorer driven by Teddy W. Walker, 65, of Albrightsville. The Forester then traveled off the road and landed in a wooded area.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police said the girl was cited after the crash.

• Thomas N. Thomas, 63, of Albrightsville, sustained suspected minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash at 12:39 p.m. July 18 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to an area hospital.

The crash occurred when Madison T. Sottung, 21, of Greentown, driving a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, failed to slow down for traffic ahead of her, according to police. The Tacoma struck a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Thomas, which rear-ended a 2008 Honda Civic operated by Robert Kovacs, 76, of Bala Cynwyd, police said.

All three vehicles sustained minor damages, police said.
