The 2015 Jim Thorpe Area High School Boys Track & Field Team is being inducted into the Jim Thorpe Hall of Fame.

The 2015 squad was the first team in program history to win the Schuylkill League Division 1 championship, finishing with a record of 7-0 (6-0 SL D1).

The coaching staff, managers and athletic trainers included Frank Miller (head coach), Jason Jacobs, Patty Rehrig, Joe Jaskot, Eric Moore, Bob Wagner, Walter Bevilacqua, Sierra Keegan, Nikki Mergel, Mindy Sando and Heather Halenar.

Team members included Aubrey Warner, Hunter Gibson, Samuel Gilkes, Jacob Saxon, Jonathon Condly, Nathaniel Fields, Chalid Smalls-Stokes, Jeremy Annan, Bailey Becker, Michael Jefferson, Rayan Green, Juan Gentile, Dylan Bucior, Jason Montemuro, Brandon Bell, Derek Scott, Joseph Schwartz, Ben Saxon, Anthony DeFeo, Jeremy Van Auken, Nicholas Rosahac and Jason Scott.

The Jim Thorpe Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Jim Thorpe Area High School. Tickets to the banquet are $25 and can be purchased by reaching out to Jack Kmetz (570-952-4288), or Craig Zurn (570-325-3855).

The 2024 JTAHS Class of 2024 also includes Kayley Kovac, Joe Eichhorn Sr., Kevin Vitti, Brooke Cope and Kelsey Carroll.
