In continuing to spread overdose awareness, Celebrate Recovery at Weatherly Faith Church and Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton, are teaming up with Lenore Scatton to host another International Overdose Awareness event on Aug. 31.

The event will take place at the amphitheater in Eurana Park, Weatherly, from 5 to 8 p.m.

There will be live music and personal testimonies, as well food and refreshments.

The event will end with a candlelight vigil.

If anyone would like to add a loved one’s photo to a banner for the candlelight vigil, they may do so by sending a photo to Lenore Scatton via text at 484-464-1604 by Aug. 20.
